Tolerance: Many of our guild members come from many lifestyles and hold radically different perspectives on politics, religion, society etc. However, with that in mind, we treat each other with respect and remain aware of our collective differences. And choose to agree to disagree rather than pursue dangerous topics of discussion.

Freedom: Suncrown supports player freedom. Members will never be required to run instances, participate in raids or spend time doing specific tasks as part of your membership. You will not be expected to be of a certain level or play for a certain amount of hours to retain membership either. Although you should keeps in mind our inactivity policy (details below) where you will be removed from the guild if you are inactive for more than a month.

Independence: Suncrown operates under republican charity. There is no bank or guarantee of assistance during times of trouble. We do not expect anything from our players in terms of: monetary assistance, EQ improvement, grouping, defense from the Alliance, class quests, etc. However, you will find that the majority of our members are happy to help new players with all of those things. Try to group with people of your own level before asking people to “run you through” instances. Ask and you may receive – but don’t expect anything!

The same goes for role-playing. We have done what we can to promote a well-connected foundation for our guild, where all characters is acquainted with at least a few people they know. If you’re feeling lonely because no one’s asking you to role play, get out there and ask other people. Come up with plots for your character by working with other characters and you’ll be surprised at how cooperative people become. We are all the Dungeon Master.

Organized Role-play: Suncrown often conducts its role-play (RP) around organized events. We have found this method to be both efficient and rewarding. This does not mean all of our role-play is organized. Random RP happens all the time in Suncrown, but we have many well-written story arcs going at any given time – just to spice things up.

And because we are an RP guild, we do expect our members to attend occasional RP events, but so long as you follow our procedures and policies, you can role play as much or as little as you like.
